200th Anniversary of the Baptist Church in Idle

January 12th Coffee morning and launch of the updated book of the church history for the last 200 years

February 19th Coffee morning and the unveiling of the Church Banner outside the church to let people know we are 200 years old and why we are celebrating

March 23rd - Easter Day - Dedication of the Banner for inside the Church depicting church life.

Celebration Weekend
Friday 18th April a coach will, take us to our mother church at Bramley for a short service and 1st act of a playlet. We will then return to Idle for a short service and the 2nd act of the playlet.To be followed by a pea and pie supper.

Saturday 19th April Livewire Birthday party in the afternoon followed by a concert by the Hopes and Dreams choir.

Sunday 20th April a special Anniversary service led by Rev. Brian Goodhall, followed by a Buffet lunch

Throughout the weekend an exhibition of Floral arrangements, photographs and memorabilia will be on display.

We would appreciate as much publicity as possible for this momentous event.

It is our Bicentenary this weekend If you would like to join us the main service is at 10-30am on Sunday.
